MARKET ENTRY · PROJECT STRUCTURING · TECHNICAL DUE DILIGENCE
Three mandates,
each with a
defined scope
and term
RGfx is retained for a defined question, not for open-ended representation. Each mandate below has a fixed scope, a fixed term and a named deliverable. Commercial terms are agreed against that scope and are not published.
In independent reviews, RGfx acts for the client commissioning the work, not the contractor, vendor or licensor being evaluated. Potential conflicts are checked before engagement.
THE THREE MANDATES
MARKET ENTRY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Market Entry Sprint — Latin America
Is this market worth entering, through whom, and against what calendar?
SCOPE
- Country market map and demand outlook for the product or service.
- Capital project and EPC opportunity register: owner, stage, budget, decision point.
- Candidate local partners, agents and consortium members, each assessed rather than listed.
- Entry route, and the tender calendar that governs when it has to happen.
PROJECT STRUCTURING & INVESTMENT FACILITATION
Project Structuring Review
What does this project still need before a lender will look at it?
SCOPE
- Project readiness assessed against the requirements of relevant lenders and financing institutions.
- Capital structure and the coverage ratios it has to hold.
- Fit with IDB, CAF, DFC, export credit agencies and commercial lenders.
- Revenue contract and offtake review: who pays, under what instrument, for how long.
- Gap map with a sequence and an owner for closing each gap.
TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL DUE DILIGENCE
Technical & Commercial Due Diligence
Does this package do what the seller says it does, and what does it cost to find out later?
SCOPE
- The sponsor's case: what the study assumes, what those assumptions rest on, and which of them the project cannot survive being wrong about.
- FEED and process package review against the duty the package is meant to perform.
- Cost estimate and schedule tested against the class of estimate actually behind them.
- Contractor and technology licensor evaluation on delivery record for comparable scope, not on capability statements.
- The decision path in country: who signs, which permits and tariffs govern, what has stopped projects of this type before.
- Discipline-specific technical review executed by named specialists from the RGfx network, proposed for client approval before work starts.
- Risk and gap register, ranked by consequence rather than by count.

HOW MANDATES ARE STAFFED
RGfx is a small firm by design. Where a mandate calls for depth the firm does not hold in-house, the specialist is drawn from a network built over four decades and named to the client before work starts. The review stays independent of any contractor or vendor either way. Review specialists are checked for conflicts and act within the client's mandate.
Every engagement opens with a jurisdiction and sanctions check on the counterparty and its ultimate beneficial owner. Mandates that do not clear it are declined.
Start with a call.
Thirty minutes, no charge. Bring the project, the counterparty and the decision in front of you. If RGfx is not the right firm for it, that is what the call is for.
